Biosketch:

Jared, a former professional computer programmer, received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2012.  He is interested in the roles of and interactions between CA3 and the DG especially in the context of pattern separation and pattern completion.  He is currently investigating temporal processing in the hippocampus. In addition to human imaging, he will be conducting animal behavior and electrophysiology work in collaboration with Jim Knierim and computational modeling with Noah Cowan. Jared is also interested in creating computer programs and software for neuroscience research.
